Oh my but it works wonders for flushing out allergens and "stuff" from your nose. I don't use a neti pot but have an improvised method involving cottonballs and a coffee cup. I've been doing it for about 12 years now and swear by it. I also taught my kids how to do it at a young age! Would probably avoid coffee and other non-saline water things.
That's so funny -- I just watched a different neti pot demo video. I'm actually thinking of getting one to see if it'll help my tinnitis. I'd never heard of ear washers, either, 'til I met my husband (and then it took 20+ years before I tried it myself).

I have one of those things at home even as we speak and I'm scared to try it.
I spent my whole childhood trying to keep water OUT of my nose.

I just found you! Where was I?
I have a Neti pot. It is da bomb! And, it works. Not elegant, but it works.
There are many people who swear by the neti pot, but it just makes me sort of nauseous to think about it.
I have a friend who swears by this, so I finally bought one. It is a little weird at first, but I love the feeling after!! Who'd a thunk it??
